Brenda Wells, MD
Dr. Wells is a Board Certified Family Physician who completed her residency at Lutheran Medical Center, in Brooklyn, NY, in 2006. After spending three years in York, PA practicing Family Medicine, she wanted to return home to Tucson, to be with her family.
When returning to Tucson, she practiced with Carondelet Medical Center for 3 years. Although, she enjoyed her time there, she is very excited to be starting Tucson Family Care. Tucson Family Care is a small, privately owned office, which will offer treatment to her patients in a comfortable and intimate setting.
Dr. Wells believes that a good doctor-patient relationship is important, as well as, health maintenance and disease prevention. She is interested in all aspects of Family medicine from newborns to geriatrics.
Dr. Wells is happily married, and has three wonderful children.
David Vercel, MSN, FNP-BC
David is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. He began his healthcare career as a registered nurse over 6 years ago with a background in pediatrics and adults specializing in ICU and emergency care. David is dedicated to the well-being of every one of his patients. He enjoys teaching and empowering each patient so they have the tools necessary to better their healthcare.
In his spare time, David loves to hang out with his wife and daughter. He also enjoys taking his dogs for evening walks, college football season (Go Blue!), and playing golf.
Beverly Capili, MSN, FNP-BC
Beverly is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Master’s in nursing degree from Georgetown University Family Nurse Practitioner’s nursing program. Her 15 years of experience as a Registered Nurse included specialties in trauma/orthopedic/spine at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland and endoscopy at Medstar Georgetown Hospital in Washington, DC. With her devotion to giving individualized patient care, she enjoys teaching and motivating patients to learn and apply positive health decisions.
Beverly loves being physically active and engaging in outdoor activities with her family. She is involved in a small community church and actively participates in a bible study group.
